Tough times cards (Elle's Studio)

I was inspired by Elle's Studio February release to create cards for when times are tough and you need to send a note of support or encouragement. 

For this first card, I started with the acrylic clouds and raindrops on top of a card from the kit and then created the sentiment by combining stamps from the awesome Sunshine & Laughter set and the new Teal Acetate letters. 

 For the second card, I created a black on white background with another stamp from the Sunshine and Laughter set. I then picked a colorful card from the kit and stamped the sentiment on it. Before placing it top and center, I layered some of the cork stars underneath to give depth and bring in texture.

I added a wood veneer banner, a little die-cut from the kit and some twine from my stash. I love the pop of color from the rainbow over the black and white background and the mixture of texture on this one.
