3rd Grader (in 6X12)

Hello! I'm here today to share another school themed page created with the September Burlap & Buttercups kit (the Basic Grey Oxford papers to be exact). It is a smaller 6X12 format which I always enjoy making! I loved those Maya Road canvas triangle (so much that I decided to leave them bare to show off their beautiful texture) and paired them with another favorite, yellow baker's twine:

Bonjour! Aujourd'hui je viens partager une autre page au thème scolaire réalisée avec le kit de septembre de Burlap & Buttercups (les papiers Basic Grey Oxford pour être exacte). C'est un petit format demi-page (15X30 cm). J'aime beaucoup ces petits fanions de Maya Road et je les ai même laissés "nus" afin d'apprécier encore plus leur texture. Ils sont trop beaux avec la baker's twine jaune!

Flyin'by with another challenge

Here is a deliberately simple 6x12 created with the Echo Park Little Boy collection part of my February TTT kit. I am glad I had those old photos to scrap with those papers! My little guy was not even two... time does fly by quickly doesn't it....

Voici une page format 15X30 volontairement simple créée avec la partie Echo Park Little Boy de mon kit de TTT. J'étais bien contente de trouver ces vieilles photos pour aller avec ces papiers! Mon petit gars n'avait même pas encore deux ans... comme le temps vole vite... ("fly by")

The Magic of Christmas

As I sit here exhausted from all the running around that the season entails, I thought I would share with you a 6X12 page done with the Transparent Touches December kit #2. The pretty title is simply a sticker from the Little Yellow Bicycle collection (Christmas Delight) included in the kit and these old photos that I had never scrapped reminded me of the magical side of Christmas... which I have had to muster while circling the parking lot 5 times to find a spot at the mall!!! :P

Alors que je suis ici épuisée par toutes les activités et les courses de saison, j'ai voulu partager avec vous cette page au format 15X30 réalisée avec le kit #2 de décembre de Transparent Touches. Le joli titre est un simple sticker de la collection Christmas Delight de Little Yellow Bicycle incluse dans ce kit et ces vieilles photos que je n'avais jamais scrappées me rappelaient le côté vraiment magique de Noêl... Magie dont on a besoin de se souvenir quand on a fait cinq fois le tour du parking du centre commercial pour trouver une place!!! :P

...was the subject of Autumn's last challenge and here is the 6X12 page I created to let our son know how proud we are of his latest scientific achievements! This is the second time I have taken her up on her challenges and I like them so much that am already working on the next one ;)

In other news, I have been enjoying the Echo Park papers from my July TTT kit and..... we just bought our very first house!!!! We are still working through the process but we will probably be moving (just a mile away from our current place) in August! I have been an emotional roller coaster to put it mildly!!!!!!

Voici une page au format 15X30 réalisée pour le dernier défi d'Autumn. J'aime bien les sujets qu'elle propose et je travaille déjà sur son prochain ;)
En ce moment, je m'amuse beaucoup avec les papiers de la nouvelle compagnie Echo Park qui font partie de mon kit de juillet de TTT et... nous venons d'acheter notre première maison!!! Nous avons encore beaucoup d'étapes avant de terminer le processus mais nous pensons déménager (juste à 1 mile de chez nous) en août! En conséquence, je suis une "montagne russe d'émotions" comme on dit ici! :D

I am hosting today on Nikki Sivils' blog and so I thought I would share with you one of my latest project using her new collection Will He B the 1. I have been wanting to create a page about our family favorite movie for a while and, with its yellow tickets, popcorn prints and pink papers, this collection was perfect!

Aujourd'hui, je suis la rédactrice sur le blog de Nikki Sivils alors j'ai décidé de vous montrer une de mes dernières créations avec sa nouvelle collection Will He B the 1. Cela faisait un moment que je souhaitais faire une page sur un de nos films favoris et, avec ses tickets jaunes, ses motifs popcorn and ses papiers roses, cette collection était parfaite!

Journaling: "Idiot, pull up", "I would like to buy a dumburgar", "Good one, Ponton!", "Youri the trainer who trains", "The weather outside... snip, snip", "No Nicole, not since the internet"... Yes, the Pink Panther (2006) might be our family favorite movie. After repeated viewings, we still crack up and many of Inspecteur Clouseau's lines have become staples in our house :)
