Supplies: December 2021 Kit, Puffy Asterisk Stickers, The Merriest Puffy Stickers, Parker Outlined Alphabet Stamp, Wonder 6 x 8.5 inch Paper Stack, The Merriest Vellum Die Cuts, Nesting Tags Metal Die, Parker Alphabet Metal Die, Layered Card Metal Die
My starting points for both cards were the vellum stars and hearts from the The Merriest Vellum Die Cuts. On this first one, I stitched two hearts together in the center and built layers behind using a card from the December kit and patterned papers from the Wonder 6 x 8.5 inch Paper Stack that I cut with dies from the Nesting Tags Metal Die and the Layered Card Metal Die.
To enhance the gold from the vellum die-cuts I found a scrap of gold paper in my stash and punched a circle from it. I finished with a simple sentiment cut from another patterned paper in the Wonder Paper stack.
I continued bringing forward gold accents on my second card with the help of the stars from the Merriest Vellum Die Cuts and the Merriest Puffy Stickers. I layered them on top of two journaling cards from the December kit that I hand cut into pennants.
For the sentiment, I used the Parker Outlined Alphabet Stamp and matching metal dies. I added a diecut from the kit under so my letters wouldn't be "floating".
I hope you find these inspiring. It is not too late to make and send a few homemade cards for Christmas. They are a gift from your hands and will be received with a big smile.
