Best of 2009 and Best wishes for 2010!

2009 has been a big scrappy year for me! Being on three design teams and guest designing several times throughout the year, I was very busy, inspired and challenged! I am very thankful for it. I am also extremely grateful for the friendships that I have made thanks to my addiction! Thank you for your visits, your encouragements and your kind words that keep me going! Thank you my friends! I wish you all love, happiness and good health for 2010. May the New Year be filled with lots of scrapworthy memories!

2009 fut l'année du scrap pour moi! Sélectionée dans trois équipes de design et plusieurs fois l'invitée du mois, j'ai vraiment eu de quoi être occupée, inspirée et challengée! Et j'en suis reconnaissante! Doublement reconnaissante car le scrap m'a aussi apporté des nouvelles amies! Je vous remercie pour vos visites, vos encouragements et vos gentils mots qui me touchent beaucoup! Merci mes amies! Je vous souhaite amour, joie et bonne santé pour 2010. Que la nouvelle année se remplisse de belles mémoires à scrapper!

My Christmas photo wreath

Here is the last project I made with the December kit from TTT (and my last Christmas project). Following a few requests from Transparent Touches members, I was planning on sharing a little tutorial but I ran out of time... I guess you will have to wait until next year!! In the meantime, I wish you all a Wonderful Christmas!

Voici mon dernier projet avec le kit de decembre de Transparent Touches (et mon dernier projet de Noel). Apres avoir recu des demandes d'explications, j'avais prevu de vous donner un petit tuto mais la je crois qu'il est vraiment trop tard.... et il vous faudra donc attendre jusqu'a l'annee prochaine!! Mais en attendant, je vous souhaite de Bonnes Fetes a tous et a toutes!

My Holiday cookie jars

After seeing Veronica's on Shabby Chic Crafts blog (and after the kids did a taste test;) I decided to make Holiday cookie jars for all my co-workers and friends this year. They were fun and easy enough to make (even though I had to run back to the store a couple of times for more baking supplies!) and with my DH's help, I made and distributed a lot more that what you see on the photo! And most importantly, they were a hit!

More Transparent Touches!

Here is one more Christmas page done with the Bo Bunny Tis the Season collection from the December Transparent Touches kit. The color is a bit off as I had to scan this one due to the lack of sunshine.

Decorating the Christmas tree...

... is one of my very favorite part of the Holidays! I love (and share) my kids' excitement when we finally get the ornaments out of the boxes to hang them while commenting on each one... "I don't remember making this in first grade" or "oh, I remember when we bought this one at Disneyland!" ...well, here is another page I made with the December Transparent Touches kit and the pagemaps sketch assigned to the DT:

La décoration du sapin est sans doute mon activité préférée au moment des Fêtes! J'aime bien (et je partage) l'enthousiasme de mes enfants lorsque l'on sort enfin les décorations des boites tout en faisant quelques commentaires sur chaque... "je ne me souviens plus d'avoir fabriqué ça au CP" ou bien, "oh, je me rapelle quand on a acheté celle-la à Disneyland!"...bref voici une autre page réalisée avec le kit de décembre de Transparent Touches et basée sur un sketch de pagemaps.

'tis the Season for Transparent Touches December reveal

I recently got to play with Transparent Touches December kit #3 which was packed with Christmas goodies including the Bo Bunny Tis the Season collection (but is now sold out). I will be sharing my layouts and one special project with you over the next few days... starting with this 8.5X11 landscape page featuring one of my favorite Christmas photos :)

J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de recevoir le kit de décembre de Transparent Touches qui comprenait entre autres la collection Tis the Season de Bo Bunny (mais qui n'est déjà plus disponible). Je partagerai avec vous mes pages et un petit projet dans les jours qui suivent... en commençant par celle-çi sur laquelle figure une de mes photos de Noêl préférées :)

Nikki Sivils Christmas planner

I have been wanting to make a file folder mini album for quite some time now and decided to create one with Nikki Sivils fun new Christmas papers from her North Pole Nights collection. The print-outs that I have included in it are from the Organized Christmas website and can be found HERE. Now I should really start filling it out!

Cela faisait un moment que j'avais envie de faire un mini avec ce genre de porte document (courant dans les bureaux ici) et j'ai décidé de me lancer avec la collection de papiers de Nikki Sivils "North Pole Nights". Les pages à l'intérieur sont disponibles sur le site Organized Christmas, ICI. Maintenant, plus d'excuse pour ne pas être prête avant Noêl!

Scrap RDV #9!

It's December 1st so it is time for the 9th edition of Alexandra and I's Scrap RDV! And we have a special guest this month too: Agata has accepted the challenge prepared by Alexandra which consisted in creating a minimum of two different decorations for our Christmas tree from this common kit:

C'est le 1er décembre donc l'heure de la 9iéme édition des Scrap RDV d'Alexandra et moi! Et ce mois çi, nous avons aussi une invitée spéciale, Agata, qui a bien voulu jouer le jeu. Alexandra nous a offert comme défi de créer au moins deux décorations de Noêl différentes avec ce kit commun:

I had a lot of fun creating this first decoration which is based on an ornament I saw on Canon Creative Park. If you have never visited this site, you should! I highly recommend it. My trick was to print out the design in black and white on the back of the patterned paper and to use a good kraft knife:)

Je me suis bien amusée à créer cette première décoration basée sur un projet du site Canon Creative Park. Si vous ne connaissez pas encore, je vous le recommande vraiment! Mon "truc" a été d'imprimer le dessin du site en noir et blanc sur le dos du papier et d'utiliser un bon couteau de précision:)

Then my next set was inspired by the origami tutorial found on Domesticali. I just created another size by proportionally enlarging the measurements for variety and added a little knot.

Mes autres décorations ont été inspirées par le tuto trouvé sur le site de Domesticali. J'ai juste créé une taille différente pour plus de variété et j'ai rajouté le petit noeud.
