Happy International Scrapbooking Day!

Yes, I am scrapbooking today, are you? :) We are celebrating iNSD all week long at Citrus Twist Kits with a new challenge everyday between May 1st and May 7th. I was in charge of the very first challenge for which I created a mood board. I would love to see some of you play along! There's a $100 grab bag to win!

Here's the page I created for it with the not yet revealed May kit:

With all the gold accents in this kit, I was inspired to create a Christmas page, in May, when it is over 90F outside! :P Also, my design was based on this sketch from Laura at Stuck?!

Some details:
I was afraid to put the first title I had for this page online so instead I used a tamer one and wrote the funny story on a tag hiding behind the photos ;)

    No. I didn't get any scrapbooking done at all yesterday. But I'm hoping to do some today.

    I think we can get the idea of the subject of your page from the new title and the little glimpse of journaling :)

    Wow wow wow!!! This is gorgeous! I loveeeeeeeeee the colors and those pinwheels!!! And I had some friends over last night for a crop ... I made 6 lo's and started #7 :)

    Oh, this is so fun! I managed to get one layout done on Saturday... and a second one done on Sunday. :)

    What a cool mix of patterned paper. I actually scrapped this weekend myself - worked on things from Christmas!
