The January release over in the Elle's Studio shop includes quite a lovely assortment of papers, embellishments and stamps that inspired me to create a couple Valentine's Day cards which I am sharing with you today.
Supplies: January 2022 Kit, Love Notes Die Cuts, Heart and Star Chipboard Stickers, Love Chipboard Stickers, Love You 6 x 8.5 inch Paper Stack, Love You Stamp, white cardstock (Bazzill), jewel dots (Doodlebug Design)
My first card features a bunting created with hand-cut papers from the Love You paper stack, a xoxo die-cut from the kit and chipboard shapes from two new sticker packs (Love and Heart and Star). The background patterned papers are also from the Love You paper stack.
The color combination was dictated by my pre-selected sentiment which is a favorite chipboard sticker from the Love sticker pack.
I wanted to play with the Love You stamp set for my second card so I cut portion of the xoxo stamp and created a pattern on white card stock using teal ink. I used another stamp for the sentiment and combined it with a black chipboard sticker which adds contrast and focus.
To finish, I created a vertical line of scattered hearts using die-cuts, chipboard and stamping
