Universal Studios: regular layout+pocket page = ♥

I have a post today on the Scraptastic Club blog sharing an up and coming way of documenting events. You can read all about it here.
J'ai écris un article sur le blog de Scraptastic ce matin sur le mariage d'une page "normale" et d'une page à la Project Life.

As you know I am not a Project Lifer but I have been playing with the concept while creating my Month in Numbers pages. After finding more and more PL variations online, I decided to document an event with both a traditional layout and a pocket page layout.

First I did the traditional layout:

Supplies: Out on the Town main kit, washi tape and date stamp from my stash

Then I built my pocket page:
Supplies: Out on the Town main kit, Out on the Town flair set and stamp set, washi and paper clip from my stash

Put together, they look like this:
Let me just say, I LOVE this new way of documenting an event! If you haven't yet, try it! I have listed the many reasons/advantages on the Scraptastic blog but one thing is certain: I will be doing it again! :)

Wishing you a creative week!

  1. You know, your the second blog I've come across this morning that used the pocket page as a 2nd page to the layout! I need to use these more often because it's a great way to compliment the layout with multiple photos! Your layout spreads are fantastic! Beautiful job and thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Hi Nathalie, I have been toying with the idea of doing a page based on PL as you have and after seeing your pages together I love it! I will certainly be taking your idea on board and having a go with my holiday pics. Stunning pages as usual! xx
