I wanted an "old world" feel since the photo was taken in Porto, Portugal in an awesome older building converted into a shop. The flowery pattern paper and gold vellum accent convey that feel for me. And the black accents mirror the black leather couch in the photo.

Do you like to change format or do you stick to just one? Does it bother you later in your album?
Thank you for stopping by! Have a beautiful and crafty weekend!
Gorgeous! LOVING the colors and the stitching!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I think that centered split print really shines on this page. Love it. By the way, I did get the blog prize, thanks so much. A few bits and bobs have already landed on a pocket page project I am doing.
ReplyDeleteGreat title. And I like this size. Sian was just talking about doing this size pages and having trouble finding albums.

I'm normally a straight 12x12 kind of girl, but maybe I should give 8.5x11 a whirl ...
ReplyDeletethe most i change is choosing the occasional pocket pages. they are all 12x12 though. Your page works so well..it's fab x
ReplyDeleteI love the grey background..pale blues and soft greys are going to be the next big thing in backgrounds after white, I think. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love this -- especially how you split up that slide frame!
